128th AAGPS Athletics Championships

On Saturday, 21 September, The King’s School Athletics Team capped off another successful season at the 128th AAGPS Championships.

The day was highlighted by our Junior and Intermediate teams placing 1st and our Seniors earning a hard-fought 3rd place, with our cumulative point score seeing us placed as the strongest of all the AAGPS Schools.

Congratulations to our GPS record-breaking Senior and Intermediate 4x400m Relays, U16 4x100m Relay and Year 10 student Josh in the U16 200m.

We had several other successful results throughout the day including:

–              Sudip – 1st in U13 Championship Shot Put  

–              Ethan – 3rd in U14 Championship Shot Put

–              Sebastian – 1st in U13 Championship 90m Hurdles, 1st in U13 Championship 200m

–              Tonere – 2nd in U14 Division Shot Put

–              Aryan – 1st in U14 Championship 100m Hurdles

–              Lachlan – 2nd in U13 Division 800m

–              Cameron – 2nd in U14 Championship 200m, 1st in U14 Division 100m

–              Zachery – 1st in U13 Division 100m

–              Lachlan – 2nd in U13 Championship 800m, 3rd in U13 Championship 400m

–              Ajiri – 1st in U14 Championship 100m

–              Henry – 1st in U14 Championship High Jump

–              Angus – 1st in U13 Championship 1500m

–              Jett – 2nd in U14 Championship 400m

–              Bruce – 1st in U13 Division Shot Put

–              4x400m Relay Junior – 3rd

–              4x100m Relay U13 Championship – 1st

–              4x100m Relay U14 Championship – 1st

–              Ruari – 2nd in U15 Championship High Jump

–              Hasani – 3rd in U16 Championship Shot Put

–              Gerhard – 1st in U15 Championship Shot Put

–              Nate – 2nd in U16 Championship 800m

–              Evan – 1st in U16 Division 800m

–              Anwar – 1st in U16 Division 100m

–              Kyros – 1st in U15 Championship Long Jump, 3rd in U15 Championship 100m Hurdles
