The King’s School Snowsports team recently showcased their skills competing in the Australian Interschool Snowsports Championships.
The team of 25 represented the School with exceptional teamwork, determination and sportsmanship and achieved several noteworthy results.
The outstanding results for our teams included:
– Division 1 Alpine – 2nd place
– Division 3 Alpine – 3rd place
– Division 1 Snowboard Giant Slalom – 2nd place
– Division 1 Snowboard – 1st place
– Division 2 Moguls – 3rd place
– Division 1 Ski Cross – 2nd place
– Division 2 Ski Cross – 2nd place
– Division 1 Cross Country Classic – 1st place
– Division 2 Cross Country Classic – 1st place
– Division 3 Cross Country Classic – 2nd place
– Division 1 Cross Country Relay – 1st place
– Division 3 Cross Country Relay – 2nd place
Individually, our boys also achieved some impressive results. Year 10 student River placed 2nd in Division 2 Alpine, Year 8 student Zephyr placed 3rd in Division 3 Alpine, Year 11 student Pierce placed 3rd in the Division 1 Snowboard Giant Slalom, Year 11 student Edward placed 2nd in Division 1 Ski Cross, Year 10 student Tyler placed 1st in Division 2 Cross Country Classic, Year 6 student Edward placed 5th overall in moguls, Year 11 student Edward placed 3rd in Division 1 Cross Country Classic, Year 8 student Ethan placed 3rd in Division 3 Cross Country Classic and Year 10 student Edward placed 1st in Multiclass.
