A warm welcome
At the heart of The King’s School community lies a supportive, inclusive and generous heart. When you consider that the residential staff and family community at King’s numbers over 120 and that we have 350 boarders, you begin to see how King’s is not just a school; we are a village.
As a village, we then grow each day as we welcome over 1300 students and many more parents to our 320-acre home.
Our parents have always immersed themselves actively into the life of the school and we invite you to do the same. In doing so, you will find that support, feel that inclusivity and see how generous we are.

Insight:
Our King's community
The King’s Community is a wide and varied group: current and past parents, caregivers and guardians, grandparents, aunts and uncles, teachers and former teachers, Old Boys and Old Tudorians, Tudor House, even donors and supporters. Not to mention the families that live on campus alongside our Boarding Houses – affectionately known as ‘the King’s Village’
Our parents enjoy and optimise their King’s experience through their child’s educational journey, immersing themselves actively into the life of the School.

Insight:
Keeping connected
Throughout their time with the School, parents engage with academic staff, sporting coaches, Housemasters, Masters-in-Charge and a broad range of co-curricular staff.
Parents can attend Drama performances, Art Shows, Music Recitals, and sporting events right through the School year, and we journey far and wide on sporting trips, boarding roadshows and annual events to stay in touch with our Old Boys and communities to hear their stories and share ours.
At the heart of the King’s community is the ethos of coming together: from congregations in the Chapel to a handshake on the sideline, from a laugh at the Performing Arts Centre to a country rugby match, our community works hard to get connected and stay connected.
