Facilities in Preparatory School
The facilities in Preparatory School have been purposefully created to enrich learning and provide a safe and rewarding environment for every young Kingsman – those with eyes full of wonder just beginning their educational adventure to our Year 6 boys keen to progress to their Senior School years.
From the magnificent, historic mansion of Gowan Brae to our purpose-built Learning Centres and fully-equipped performance hall, every space seeks to inspire and enlighten, supporting each boy on his individual journey.
From the richly-equipped classrooms to a range of high quality learning areas and outdoor spaces, boys at Prep have everything they need right at their doorstep.
Academic centres
At the heart of the School is the Dalleywater Centre – our Inquiry Learning Centre housing a purpose-built library and learning hub to inspire boys and assist them in their quest for knowledge and understanding.
Classrooms are generous in size and filled with natural light, creating an inspiring learning environment. The campus is technology-rich, with Wi-Fi connectivity, interactive screens and a one-to-one device program in place.
Specialised classroom learning areas support studies in STEM, Languages Other Than English, Visual Arts and Woodwork, while the Music Centre can cater for music lessons, large group rehearsals and includes individual lesson/practice rooms, instrument storage and office spaces.
