$100Please join us for the official announcement of the 2021 Art Prize winner and Gala Dinner.
We are excited to announce this year’s event is right around the corner, and will take place on Friday 30 April at 6.30pm in Horrocks Hall in the Preparatory School.
Tickets to the Gala Dinner are $100 per person, plus a $3 booking fee that goes towards supporting Girls’ Education Programs in underdeveloped countries. Tickets include beverages, a three-course meal and entertainment.
The King’s School Art Prize has been awarded to some of Australia’s leading contemporary artists for the past 27 years, and this year is no exception. It’s with pleasure that we now announce the 2021 Finalists of The King’s School Art Prize:
Emma Walker, Alice Wormald, Theresa Hunt, Daniel O’Toole, Vivian Cooper Smith, Kylie Banyard, Jacqueline Balassa, Marcella Kaspar, Rosemary Valadon, Sanné Mestrom, Ivor Fabok, Tim Allen, Tom Adair, Aaron Kinnane, Mark Schaller, Mathew Lynn, Gary Heery, Kate Shaw, Giles Alexander, Jeff Rigby, Gina Bruce, Evan Salmon, Gerry King, Joanna Lamb, Janet Luxton, Sarah Tomasetti, Lorraine Kabbindi White, Helicopter Tjugurrayi, Jessica Loughlin and Steve Lopes.
We also look forward to welcoming guest judge Kon Gouriotis OAM, Editor of Artist Profile Magazine.
All finalists’ artwork, excluding the winner, will be on sale on Friday night at the Gala Dinner as well as on Saturday 1 May between 10.00am to 4.00pm in Horrocks Hall.
