September/October Holiday Camps

The King’s School is a vibrant community that does not rest, even during the school holidays. You now have the opportunity to extend the fun, take up a new challenge, and enjoy these following school holiday camps, all being held on campus here at The King’s School.

The programs and offerings are all run by external operators who have hired The King’s School facilities to host the holiday camps. Please click on the relevant links and contact the organisers directly for further information or to make a booking for any of the camps.

Code Camp

Code Camp is once again coming to The King’s School these school holidays! Code Camp is where parents of kids aged 5-13 years discover fun school holiday activities that empower children to get creative with technology! This school holidays Code Camp will be offering the following camps:
– Minecraft Engineers
– Minions
– Roblox Legends
– Spark
– Web Builders
– YouTube Creators

Motiv8sports

The Motiv8sports Big Battle is a very special camp we are performing for the first time ever. We are turning traditional sports upside down and taking campers on a journey where they will feel like they have entered a tv game show. Campers will represent one of 2 amazing tribes called the BRAVEHEARTS and the GOLIATHS. These tribes will battle against each other at 16 incredible sports challenges over the course of the event.

On the final day of Big Battle 2023 campers will also have the added bonus of wearing old clothing to take part in the coolest challenge we have ever created. This optional activity called Battle Grounds is a 90 minute finale including slime slides, coloured powder, water bombs and messy challenges featuring the BRAVEHEARTS and the GOLIATHS.

This is an optional (non-compulsory) component of our event for kids who love to get messy. For kids who are not too keen on the mess, rest assured that we will also have a great alternative challenge for you to compete in.

SISA

For the first time, SISA Australia is bringing their holiday program to The King’s School! Come along for a full day of giant inflatable obstacle courses, gymnastics, laser tag, NERF wars, roller racers, carnival games, and a wide range of sports including soccer, OzTag, basketball, netball, hockey, AFL and more!

Date and Time: Tuesday 26 September 2023, 9.00am – 4.30pm
Pricing: $66 per child

Sydney Robotics Academy

VEX IQ is a snap-together robotics system designed from the ground up to provide novice users the chance to find success quickly, while still being able to constantly challenge more advanced users.

During this holiday workshop students will be using the VEX IQ robotics parts to learn about Naval Engineering. Explore sail ships, steam boats, and submarines through learning how they work and get the opportunity to build one hands-on!
The two day workshop and three day workshop will explore different concepts and build different projects, students are welcome to enrol in one, or both of these workshops.

Dates and Times: Monday 25 – Tuesday 26 September 2023, 9.00am – 11.00am (two day workshop) and Wednesday 27 – Friday 29 September 2023, 9.00am – 11.00am (three day workshop)
Pricing: $180 (two day workshop) or $270 (three day workshop) per child
